Ocean Isle Beach Airport has taken steps to allow skydiving at the Odell Williamson Municipal Airport.
All skydiving operators will be required to comply with Federal Aviation Administration regulations, US Parachute Association basic safety requirements, and be required to obtain a certification of authorization from the town prior to skydiving operations.
As of now there are no companies offering skydiving services, but it will only be a matter of time before this welcome attraction comes to Ocean Isle Beach.
